It has been a few months which I have not gone to the movies. As far as American films are concerned, I honestly think that nothing worth watching has been produced for such a long time. Last night I was lucky enough to come by the film, Motorcycle Diaries;it was like a fresh breeze. Motorcycle Diaries is one of the most humane movies which I have seen in a long time, the scenes, the story and the music are simply magical, everything works int hifilm. This film is based on a true life story of young Ernesto ”Che” Guevara’s trip across Latin America.                                                                                     If you have the chance, it is worth watching and Viva La Revolucion! (Just for today that is.) Motorcycle Diaries is directed by Walter salles. Here you can watch some scenes and listen to all the soundtrack, enjoy!

1.Why is that BBC never advocates any religion on its English section? Have you ever read an articles such as : How to behave in a church? or, what are the procedures of kissing a priest’s hand? and What steps must be taken for a perfect Sabbath? well, I haven’t. So why is it that in BBC Persian we come across an article: When does the month of Ramadan starts?  , ماه رمضان چه وقت آغاز می شود؟, then it goes on: ‘The different point of views regarding the EXACT beginning of the holly month continues through this year.’

I want to ask the BBC that what is going to happen if we know and agree on the EXACT beginning of ramadan? would anything change in our countries? Would all the 5.000.000 Iranians who live under the poverty line of 1$ and less have a better situation? I guess according to your article all of us in the middle east have to look up and keep looking for the moon for eternity and forget about everything else!

2. I have quite smoking for sometime now. Physically I feel much more energized, but psychologically I feel that I still have not got over it; it is like I don’t feel closure after any event, eg. eating, designing and working, somehow I just don’t feel full-filled regardless of how great a job I might have accomplished. Has any of you guys been a former smoker? has it been hard for you too?

1. Today Ramadan has officially started here in Dubai. Official working Hours are from 9:00am till 2:00pm. The shopping malls are open until the morning hours (3:00am). We will sleep more, gain a couple kilos and go on a shopping spree during the month. Honestly, what other ways better than these for taking us closer to God?!

2. The largest Iranian weblog portal, ‘Persian blog’ has been filtered in Iran. Has eradication of web-logs already started in Iran?

*News update: Persian Blog has become available again, it was filtered by mistake. I hope it’s true.

3. Seven deadly social sins. (see for yourself)

1. 2609349813.jpg Our great president’s (Ahmadinejad) speech at the U.N was simply remarkable! He nearly recited the whole Quran at the end of his speech. As we Iranians say, I hope the eyes of the jealous ones becomes blind. (Honestly, I do not have anything serious to say about the speech.) What did you think?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   2. b2.jpg Two days ago I found some boxes and plastic bags in front of my door step, it is written on it,”Recycle and save our planet.” Although I consider myself an environmental friendly person, but to be honest I have never recycled anything before. So I have decided to give it a try: Plastics in one bag 1. Metals in one bag 2. Papers in bag 3. Does any of you guys recycle?
